Hi, Im Jessica.
About a year ago i noticed a change in my boyfriends attitude, he didnt seem as interested in me and we began arguing alot.
He started going out alot more at weekends with his “friends” and not involving me in his social life. He removed as a friend on his facebook page but told me that he had deleted his account.
Anyway time past and things gradually got worse between us, one day i was at a friends house and i noticed that she had my boyfriend as a friend on facebook. I quesioned her as to how this was possible as he had deleted his account.
She told me that he hadnt deleted his account, i went on to look at his profile, his relationship status was set to single, there was one particular girl commenting on his wall posts i didnt know who she was.
i rang my boyfriend and asked him who the girl was, he answered “shes an old friend” i also asked him why he told me he was deleteing facebook, he made up some bullshit about it not letting him delete the account.
the weekend came, i was out with some college friends and my boyfriend had gone out with his friends, later that evening i bumped into him in a club i really wish i hadn’t because there he was arms around this so called “old friend” tounge down her throat, i couldnt believe my eyes.

Anyway the relationship ended that night as you could guess,

I hope my story being the first shows people that these things happen and people need to speak out about them, social netwroking sites, reuniting old friends can turn healthy relationships into nightmares over night.

I was with danny 5 year, first 3 were orite n then after tht we started to drift apart he stayed out all nite n cme hme drunk altho it was him tht stayed out al nyt It woz me tht gt accused of avin ladz in the house, his paranoia drove him to abuse.
this i pt up wi coz i did love him n thote he wud change, stories started flyin bout he was stayin at girls houses bt i always belived him, tht went on 4 2 year and i decided to leave him. my friend added him And saw al the girls (who he was meant to have been with wen he was wiv me) flirtin with him, all these girls messaged me on fb telin me wt hed dun n half of them were ment to be my mates!!

Martin Seddon

I used to date a 24 year old lad called Martin Seddon, we met at uni 2 years ago and have been together since, until last month when I found out he was cheating on me.

Up until a couple of months ago, I’ve never had a facebook account, only a MySpace one, and to be honest I couldn’t be bothered to take the time to actually set one up. Martin did not have a facebook either because he has no internet access, or so I thought.
Anyway,this Christmas just gone, we were meant to be spending boxing day together, we had it planned for a while, but a few days before he told me he had to go to a family get together, so had to cancel our plans for the day. I thought this was a little strange, as his parents and I get along quite well, and normally he would invite me to come with him, but he didn’t.
I eventually ended up spending Boxing Day with a friend at home.

The week after me and Martin went out on the town with our friends for New Years Eve, I go out with the girls and he goes out with the lads and we meet up later on in the night like we usually do. this is when I found out through a friend that Martin had actually spent boxing day with a couple of his mates at a party getting wrecked, a party I was invited to a while back but turned it down. We met each other through our friends at uni, so we both have the same friends, so I don’t know how he thought I wouldn’t find out about it. I confronted him about it on that night, I wasn’t bothered that he wanted to party, I was more bothered about the fact that he felt he had to lie to me about it when we party loads together anyway. We were both fair drunk so it just turned into a full blown argument and he went off with his mates and my friends took me home.

I found out that weekend that he actually had a facebook account, and a couple of my friends have him added as a friend, and they were shocked I didn’t know about it, so during our girl’s night in we looked at his profile. Mostly all was okay, except there were a few comments on his page from a girl which caught my attention because they were full of kisses. Sally Dunn is her name; she has a bit of a reputation when it comes to boyfriends. I’ve never really met her properly, but she occasionally hangs out with a few friends of mine, but no-one really seems to like her except the guys.

Anyway it turns out that she was at the same party martin was at, and they had arranged over facebook to meet there.

Another thing that really bothered me was that his relationship status was set as ‘single’

I set my own facebook up, and sent him a friend request, which he accepted, but his profile looked ‘cleaned up’, as in none of the comments were there what I had seen before, and also his relationship status was set to ‘in a relationship’.

So yes, I don’t think you can blame me to think there’s something dodgy going on.
